I tried to Google how many articles are published each day or how many words are added to webpages every hour. The answer was vague but I got the gist of it. It is a “lot”.

With those millions and millions of words adding up, you might think content is becoming boring with every new article. But the truth is, contents are still popular. Wondering how? By producing showstopping contents that dominates the competitors.

Here are some tips on how you can produce such engaging contents for your business –

Tip 1 – Take your time to lay down the groundwork

Do you know how long does it take to write a hit book?

  • Years.

From J. K. Rowling to George R. R. Martin they spent years and years writing the Harry Potter books and The Song Of Fire And Ice. These hit creations don’t just happen to build up overnight. The writers spent countless hours laying the groundwork of their story and narration. Only then were they able to stack up events after events and finish the books.

The same thing happens to a showstopping content creation process.

When you plan the content, make sure you thought this thoroughly. Plan everything from start to finish, including how the business will play its part in the whole process.

Tip 2 – Adapt to the time

I know I said that you need to plan everything from start to finish. But that doesn’t mean it should be finalized before it is written.

Let me give you an example. I’m sure you have heard of the movie Avatar since it is the second highest grossing movie of all time – only second to Avengers Endgame. The movie is fairly new but do you know how long it took the writer to finish the script? 15 straight years.

Just imagine James Cameron sticking with the 15-year-old idea when directing the movie. It would have turned out completely different. That’s why it is important that content ideas change over the years.

So, even if you have staged the whole content, you can always make the change to match your needs.

Tip 3 – Keep the audience behavior in mind when you plan

What is the main goal of content marketing?

  • To attract traffic

And what better way to do so than incorporating audience behavior into the content. That’s why pro content marketers tailor their content based on the client behavioral data they have at hand. This way, the content will feel more personal to the readers and they will engage with your business with more conviction.

Tip 4 – Try to work the emotions & make the content a hit

Do you know why movies and books engage so many people?

  • Because they engage with the content emotionally.

This is how you can make the content more engageable. Remember, the more emotionally connected the content is too the readers, the more your audience will convert into your clients. But don’t overflood it. Keep it relatable.
